5.5-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes the Czech Republic

A 5.5-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was recorded on Thursday afternoon in the Czech Republic.

The Euro-Mediterranean Institute said the epicenter was located 14 kilometers west of Pribram and 32 kilometers east of Pilsen, while the focal depth was estimated at 10 kilometers.

So far, no casualties or major material damage have been reported.
