Former Infrastructure Minister Pal Lekaj is accused in connection with an additional payment of €53 million to the Bechtel-Enka company for the Arbën Xhaferi motorway project.
At today’s hearing, Lekaj denied the charges, pleading not guilty before the trial panel.
“I have nothing to add,” he said, maintaining his plea of innocence.
The trial is continuing with an examination of the prosecution’s allegations and the evidence submitted to the court.
