Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti welcomed Sadiku’s success, describing it as a major achievement for the boxer, the Kosovo team in Taranto, and the sport of boxing in Kosovo.
According to Kurti, Sadiku’s performance and victory represent a special moment for Kosovo on the international sporting stage.
“Congratulations to Donjeta and her coach Mariola Sallauka on this great victory!” Kurti wrote, extending his congratulations to both the athlete and her coach.
