The Ministry of Economy and Labor has opened new public calls to support the manufacturing industry, with a total fund of 7 million denars, Minister Besar Durmishi announced.

The deadline for submitting applications for both calls is September 15, 2026.
According to Durmishi, the larger share of the fund, amounting to 5 million denars, will be used to promote cooperation between companies and universities. The funding covers projects in the fields of research, development and innovation, knowledge and technology transfer, green and digital transformation, as well as the circular economy.
A fund of 2 million denars has been allocated for companies seeking to implement and certify standards, standardization documents and reports, including ESG and ESRS practices.
Support under both programs may cover up to 70 percent of documented expenses. Under the first call, applicants may receive up to 500,000 denars, while under the second call the maximum amount is 200,000 denars.
During the briefing with journalists, the minister also addressed other economic issues, such as measures to preserve living standards and offer more favorable prices, the “School Basket,” the EU Reform Agenda, the minimum wage and the situation in the labor market.
Minister Durmishi said that open communication with the media and the public would continue so that citizens and businesses could receive timely information about the policies, measures and concrete opportunities offered by the Ministry of Economy and Labor.
