Haxhiu: We Are Working to Elect Kosovo’s New President

Albulena Haxhiu, Kosovo’s acting president, announced that efforts are underway to find the country’s next president.

“We are working to find a new president,” Haxhiu said.

She made the remarks during a press conference held after Joe DioGuardi and his wife, Shirley DioGuardi, were granted Kosovo citizenship.

The issue of electing a new president remains one of the central topics on the political scene.
