The restaurant at the “Mesopotam Agroturizëm” resort, located along the Sarandë–Blue Eye national road, was engulfed in flames in the early hours of Sunday morning and completely destroyed.
According to preliminary information, the fire broke out at around 05:30. Within a short time, the flames had spread throughout the restaurant, causing extensive material damage and completely destroying the structure.

Finiq firefighters arrived at the scene immediately and intervened to bring the situation under control. Thanks to their efforts, the fire was contained and did not spread to the wooden cabins near the restaurant, which are part of the resort.
Initial suspicions point to an electrical spark or a fault in the power grid. Meanwhile, experts are continuing their work to determine the exact cause of the fire at the agritourism facility.
