Belind Këlliçi has responded in a Facebook post, declaring that Prime Minister Edi Rama’s crisis is now spreading to the projects he has promoted.

According to Këlliçi, some of the largest initiatives presented by Rama are facing serious obstacles. In his response, these difficulties are portrayed as a sign that the crisis is also affecting strategic investments.
One of the cases mentioned is the Port of Durrës project. Këlliçi claims that recent developments, together with statements by the investor, have raised questions about its continuation.
The post also mentions the project in Zvërnec, which is said to have faced opposition, protests and concerns related to the protection of natural areas.
Këlliçi also addresses Vlora Airport. He claims that missed deadlines and disputes with investors could take the matter to international arbitration, resulting in financial consequences for the state budget.

According to Këlliçi, the crisis engulfing Edi Rama is now spreading to his projects as well.
He says that several of Rama’s main projects, unveiled with great fanfare and accompanied by extensive media promotion, are now in a deep crisis.
Regarding what he calls the “Dubai of Durrës,” Këlliçi says the project has stalled and has officially sunk by 18 centimeters, which, according to him, demonstrates a lack of quality and safety. He adds that Alabar himself recently declared that the entire venture had been a mistake.
As for Zvërnec, Këlliçi says the situation is already well known. Alongside protests and public outrage, he also mentions Brussels’ demand that protection be restored for such areas, while arguing that the project has clearly made no progress.
Regarding Vlora Airport, he stresses that not only did the facility fail to begin flights within the deadlines, but it is now creating a dispute that, according to him, is likely to cost Albanian taxpayers dearly.
Këlliçi claims that termination of the contract will be followed by arbitration. He refers to investor Pacolli, who announced today that he will seek more than 320 million euros, an amount covering the bill, as well as legal costs and lost profits.
According to him, all these projects share one common element: they were conceived and set in motion as Edi Rama’s personal plans, without transparency, public consultation or any effort to secure consensus.
Këlliçi accuses the government of undertaking these initiatives arrogantly, as though the work were being carried out in the Prime Minister’s private garden. He also claims that behind each case are the personal, profit-driven interests of the head of the organization.
In his assessment, such actions and this style of governance have caused a political crisis due to the eruption of public revolt, as well as a deep crisis of legitimacy for the Prime Minister.
He argues that investments born of such monarch-like conduct cannot remain unaffected when the crisis engulfs their initiator. For this reason, according to Këlliçi, Rama’s crisis is spreading directly to the projects.
Këlliçi declares that initiatives once used for boasting and oppressive propaganda have now turned into abandoned construction sites whose fate remains unclear. According to him, they will most likely meet the same fate as the person who is counting his days.
Finally, he stresses that citizens and Albanians are bearing the cost of these developments. Këlliçi says this is precisely why the public squares have filled and people have risen up, while the fastest way out of the crisis, according to him, is the removal of the person who caused these traumas.
