In a reaction posted on social media, Apasiev sarcastically invoked VMRO-DPMNE’s slogan, stating: “How did that phrase go: ‘Macedonia PROUD again’? Do you feel proud now, VMRO supporters?” The comment was accompanied by the hashtags #VmroNevermore, #Neobalism and #IllegalBilingualism.

The Levica leader’s harsh stance came in response to Minister Jeton Shasivari’s decision to make the official website available in Albanian as well, a move that complies with the Law on the Use of Languages.

Through this message, Apasiev is targeting VMRO-DPMNE, suggesting that despite its previous opposition to bilingualism, the use of Albanian in state institutions is now being expanded under its administration.
