After the powerful storm that swept through Skopje yesterday, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski announced that institutions and municipalities have immediately begun work on repairing the aftermath.

He expressed gratitude to the teams for the quick response and stressed that the damages will be assessed and then financially covered, following previous practices and legal provisions from the relevant authorities.
“This Government never abandons its citizens. I thank the institutions and the mayors, who last night and immediately after the epic storm that hit Skopje, went out into the field to repair the damage together with the authorities under their jurisdiction. They will continue this engagement today as well, because it is an extraordinary storm. Their preparedness and motivation were truly immense. The damage will be assessed and, in accordance with the law, past experience and practice, will be fully reimbursed by the competent institutions,” Mickoski stated.
