In his address, it was highlighted that accession to the European Union constitutes the state’s highest strategic priority and that transformations in the field of the rule of law must be materialized with tangible and verifiable achievements.

North Macedonia, according to him, is once again ranked among the countries with the best performance in implementing this agenda. He recalled that 142.1 million euros have been received so far from the Growth Plan and that the authorities recently submitted the fourth request for funds, after having fulfilled 22 reform measures.

In closing, Sali extended an invitation to all lawmakers to support the reform path and contribute to the approval of necessary legal acts. He stressed that partisan divisions should not become an obstacle to the overriding national interest and to the concrete benefits that citizens expect from the journey towards the European family.
