The National Council of the Democratic Party will meet today to elect the political force’s new leaders.
According to the Democratic Party’s official announcement, the agenda includes a vote for the Secretary General, the party’s vice presidents, the Secretariat and the Appeals Commission.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 18:00. The decisions taken are expected to determine the composition of the Democratic Party’s main leadership structure for the period ahead.
Today’s meeting follows the one held on July 1, during which the National Council elected the head of this body, as well as the 20 members of the party’s Presidency.
By completing its leadership structures, the Democrats aim to strengthen the political team that will support Sali Berisha in leading the opposition and facing future political challenges.
In a message sent to National Council members, the Democratic Party expressed gratitude to its supporters and requested their cooperation in the joint efforts to further organize the party.
