The process of preparing Kosovo’s Education Strategy 2035+ has continued with new consultations by the Ministry of Education and Science, which held a roundtable discussion with leaders of higher education institutions.
The meeting focused on the priorities that need to be set at the strategic level, as well as the role of universities and other higher education institutions in drafting and implementing new education policies.

Acting Minister of Education and Science Hajrulla Çeku stated that the Strategy will be drafted in cooperation with educational institutions, municipalities and partners, with the aim of ensuring its implementation is as successful as possible.
The Ministry of Education and Science’s Secretary General, Fadile Dyla, praised the commitment of higher education institutions and stressed that their involvement is important both in planning and in achieving the Strategy’s objectives.
Taulant Hoxha, the coordinator of the Strategy drafting process, announced that the document will be prepared through open and inclusive consultations with all relevant stakeholders.
For their part, representatives of higher education institutions presented proposals and recommendations for the further advancement of this level of education. They expressed their willingness to contribute to the development of policies aimed at higher quality, innovation and the long-term development of Kosovo’s education system.
