Last night’s gathering, the 43rd in a row, started as usual in front of the Prime Ministry building, and then the demonstrators marched through the capital’s streets. They passed through the former Block area, went to “Mother Teresa” Square, and returned again to “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Boulevard, in front of the government headquarters, where they concluded the protest of the previous evening.
The civic movement marks its 44th day today, consolidating itself as one of the longest-lasting revolts in recent years in Albania. After the initial gathering in “Skënderbej” Square, the protesters headed again to the Prime Ministry building.
