The Fier Court has reviewed the security measures for the three girls involved in the assault of a 17-year-old, a case that drew major public attention and prompted reactions from institutions.
For the 19-year-old, the measure of “detention in prison” has been ordered until the conclusion of the investigation. Another suspect, aged 15, will remain under “house arrest.”

Meanwhile, the other minor involved in the incident has been placed under compulsory medical treatment, after it was established during the investigation that she had mental health problems, following the alleged violence also against her mother.
The incident became publicly known after footage was shared and reactions spread on social media. According to the family of the 17-year-old, she was initially taken to the Emergency Department of the Fier Regional Hospital with clear signs of violence and hematomas on her body. Her relatives have claimed that the health institution did not immediately notify law enforcement authorities.
