“I had asked for understanding that, both from a personal aspect and in terms of what I represent, also as an organizational structure of the LDK, I prefer debate within my political party, in preserving unity and the constant demand for victory, but every result also requires reflection on the figures, the numbers, and the results that the political party receives. So, give us the opportunity to talk. Listen, signatures are being sought for an extraordinary assembly because we have had a regular assembly. Certainly yes,” he said.
Regarding the invitation to a meeting from Vetëvendosje leader Albin Kurti, Zemaj said that the LDK has never walked away from the discussion table.
Meanwhile, LDK vice president Doarsa Kica Xhelili said that regarding the initiative to collect signatures, she would make her position public during the Presidency meeting.
She refused to present her views to the media beforehand.
Kica: Of course I have an opinion on every issue, but I want to express it during the meeting
“My positions. Of course I have an opinion on every issue, but I want to express it during the meeting. Regarding any possible decision that may come from the presidency, I will vote with the majority, and the majority’s position will be made known,” she said.
