After the close of the NATO summit, Mark Rutte said that the alliance’s next meeting will be organized in Albania.
According to him, discussions are still ongoing between the parties to determine the date on which the summit will be held.

“The next summit will be held in Albania, that was The Hague’s decision. The summit will be held in Albania, but we will have to decide on the timing of when it will take place,” Rutte said.
Following this confirmation, Prime Minister Rama also reacted. In a video published on social media, alongside the government cabinet, he said:
“What did they say? That the summit would not be held in Albania. Is that what they said? Well, that time is gone when others could do whatever they wanted in Albania. Now Albania does what it says and says what it does. So the next summit will be held in Tirana.”
