“The Albanian language cannot be treated as an issue that can be debated by just anyone”, she said regarding the contesting of the Albanian language. MP Ilire Dauti stressed that there are issues that affect human dignity and that there comes a moment when “you endure and endure, but one day you say enough.”
Dauti said that Albanians are not newcomers and are not asking anyone for anything, while everyone, according to her, “can keep their own share.”

“We are neither newcomers nor people asking someone for something. What bothers me is the fact that we have to behave even in parliament as if we are asking them for something. No, absolutely not. They have nothing to give us, they have nothing they can give us. They can keep their own share and we ours. The relationship here is very clear. The relations that should be built naturally are very clear, because we are wasting time discussing things that are already known,” Dauti said.
