Police said the suspect in the attack is a 21-year-old student. The injured are two 17-year-old girls and a 24-year-old woman. Authorities were notified around 12:30 p.m. of an incident involving a dangerous weapon.
Jakub Filipiak, a police spokesperson, said one of the injured people was taken to hospital, but the injuries were not life-threatening. The other two did not require hospital treatment.

The incident in Warsaw marks the third reported attack in Poland in just a few days. On Thursday, a 15-year-old former student killed a cleaning worker and injured two teachers at a primary school in Leszczydol-Nowiny, northeast of Warsaw.
A day earlier, on Wednesday, a 19-year-old injured 10 people, including himself, at a school in Ostrołęka, north of the Polish capital.
Following these incidents, Polish authorities stepped up security measures at educational institutions. Reuters reported that on Friday, October 9, thousands of police officers visited schools across the country to reassure students and teaching staff amid growing concerns about further possible attacks.
