According to Haradinaj, the recent developments are not related to political cooperation. He said that, in addition to seeking new elections, Kurti is also trying to blackmail the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
“There is no talk of cooperation here. I think Prime Minister Kurti is using his last card to blackmail the PDK and take the country to elections. But rest assured, it will not be easy for him, because people are frustrated, the streets of Europe and Kosovo are filled with citizens seeking justice and saying, ‘Not in my name,’ and it is up to the Assembly of Kosovo to speak on behalf of the people.”
Haradinaj warned that deputies who do not respect the will of citizens and do not vote tonight will bear responsibility for a decision with historic consequences.
“If they evade the will of citizens and do not vote tonight, they will be part of a catastrophic historic decision. They will be part of those who celebrated in Belgrade in the case of former President Thaçi and his colleagues,” Haradinaj declared.
