PE “Water Supply and Sewerage” announced that the drinking water in Skopje is of good quality and meets safety requirements for consumption.

The public institution published its weekly report on the condition of the water, with the aim of informing the citizens of Skopje about the results of the checks conducted by the Sanitary Control Sector.
During the period from 28.09.2026 to 02.10.2026, 200 samples were taken from 45 measuring points across the territory of the City of Skopje for physicochemical analyses, along with another 200 samples for microbiological analyses.
The results showed that all samples comply with the Regulation on the requirements for the safety and quality of drinking water (Official Gazette of the Republic of Macedonia, No. 183/18), the PE “Water Supply and Sewerage”-Skopje said in its announcement./Telegrafi/
