A large event in Vienna, Georgia, ended in tragedy after a barrage of gunfire left two people dead and around 30 injured.

The incident occurred overnight between Saturday and Sunday, when more than 1,000 people were attending the party, which took place across an area spanning around four blocks.
Jaquevion Jackson, 21, from Cordele, and Macaleb Jackson, 23, from Hawkinsville, were identified as the victims of the attack. Both died at the scene from gunshot wounds.
Investigators suspect that more than 50 rounds were fired at the crowd. According to authorities, the shooting may have taken place at at least two different locations, situated about one block apart.
The injured, whose ages ranged from 14 to 51, were taken to several hospitals in the area for treatment. Some of them are reportedly in critical condition.
Police said that not all of the injuries were caused by bullets. Some attendees were hurt as they tried to flee the scene in a hurry.
No arrests have been made so far. Authorities are continuing their investigation to clarify the circumstances of the attack and determine who was responsible.
