PDK MP Blerta Deliu has called on Justice Minister Donika Gërvalla not to delay the bill amending and supplementing the Law on the Specialist Chambers.

Deliu has requested that the document first be submitted to the government and then sent to the Assembly of Kosovo, where MPs should have the opportunity to vote on it.
In a Facebook statement, the MP stressed that 99 MPs from all political parties had joined together through a free and unanimous vote to defend the KLA’s war and support its four former leaders in The Hague.
According to her, the Assembly and MPs have already demonstrated their political will through the vote, while responsibility lies with the justice minister to move this initiative forward.
“Donika, do not delay the bill amending and supplementing the Law on the Specialist Chambers. The MPs have done their part by expressing their political position through a vote. Now you must also do your duty as justice minister and submit the bill to the government so that it can immediately reach the Assembly for a vote,” Deliu wrote.
She added that statements must be accompanied by concrete action, as the leaders of the war and peace need clear institutional steps.
“Do not stop this process and do not block the initiative. The Assembly must not be prevented from making a decision on this bill. If the country goes to elections without the Assembly having the opportunity to vote on it, political responsibility for failing to process it must be clear. The adoption of this law would also create opportunities to advance other political processes. Bring forward the law, Donika!” the PDK MP declared.
