The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) ordered a house-arrest measure at the request of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) for the director of the State Intelligence Service (SHISH), Vlora Hyseni, as part of the investigation into the AKSHI case.

Vlora Hyseni is suspected of two criminal offenses: aiding the perpetrator of a crime and disclosing a state secret. During searches carried out by SPAK today, she was not found at her residence.
It is reported that Vlora Hyseni is in Baku, Azerbaijan, attending a conference with 82 heads of intelligence services from around the world.
In addition to the house-arrest measure, she has also been suspended from duty. As part of the operation, searches were also carried out at the residence of former State Police chief Ilir Proda.
The operation is still ongoing, while other officials are also reported to be involved.
The new SPAK operation comes several weeks after the arrest of Ergys Agasi, who is considered, together with Ermal Beqiri, one of the key figures in the AKSHI affair.
Ergys Agasi, who was arrested in Durrës, and Ermal Beqiri, who was apprehended several weeks ago in France, are accused of having operated as a structured criminal group, together with the other defendants in the AKSHI affair, including former director Mirlinda Karçanaj and other individuals.
