Speaking to “Bota sot,” Bosch described the decision as “scandalous” and said that during the process no evidence was presented linking Thaçi to the crimes he was tried for.
“Scandalous. There is no evidence that Thaçi had anything to do with the so-called crimes,” he declared.
The former ambassador also criticized the functioning of the court, saying that, whether knowingly or unknowingly, it favored Serbia’s interests.
“This so-called Kosovo court served Serb interests very well, knowingly or unknowingly,” Bosch said.
He also raised concerns about the lack of punishment for individuals responsible for crimes in Serbia, emphasizing that some of them continue to hold positions at the highest state and military levels.
Bosch also stated that the court ignored the testimonies of several important Western officials.
“The court disregarded the witnesses, including extremely important Western officials. The arrogance is beyond words,” the former ambassador concluded.
