Ardian Gola assumes office as deputy speaker of the Assembly

Ardian Gola, a candidate of the Vetëvendosje Movement, has been elected deputy speaker of the Assembly.

During the vote, Gola secured 101 votes in favor, while there were no votes against and one abstention was recorded.

The decision was made following disagreement among the parliamentary groups over how the vote for the deputy speakers of the Assembly should be conducted—whether it should take place as a package or separately for each candidate.
