The official “Audi A6” vehicle, which for years was seen as a symbol of excessive luxury and poor management of public money by former mayor Ramiz Merko, has been sold by the Municipality of Struga.
The sale of the vehicle was carried out through a public auction, in which 9 interested parties from Struga, Ohrid, Bitola and Skopje took part.

At the end of the open and transparent procedure, the highest bid was submitted by a company from Bitola, which bought the vehicle for 22,000 euros.
Local authorities said in the official announcement that the revenue secured from this auction will be used directly to amortize and reduce the accumulated debt of the Municipality of Struga./INA/
