A ground tremor with a local magnitude of 2.5 on the Richter scale was recorded last evening in the Skopje region. The earthquake was also felt in the surrounding settlements.

The Seismological Observatory at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje reported that the tremor was recorded at 21:54. Its epicenter was located in the seismic zone of Skopje.
Residents of Skopje and the surrounding areas experienced the earthquake with an intensity of III to IV degrees, according to the European Macroseismic Scale.
