Ministry of Infrastructure engulfed in flames as protesters set the building on fire

Protesters have set fire to the premises of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy.

Police forces intervened to disperse the crowd, using tear gas and rubber bullets.

Following the clash, the protesters moved toward Skanderbeg Square.

Meanwhile, firefighting services are working to put out the flames at the ministry building.

The institution was previously headed by Belinda Balluku, who has been accused of a number of serious corruption offenses.
