A hot air mass will continue to dominate France and Spain in the coming days, with no sign of temperatures dropping. Weather specialists in these countries warn that the mercury could reach 42 degrees Celsius next week.

The lack of rainfall in the areas hardest hit by fires, including the Spanish regions of Ávila and Madrid, as well as Gironde in France, is increasing fears of further spread of wildfires. Meteorological forecasts offer no hope for a change in this situation in the near future.
For Sunday, the Madrid region will experience clear and sunny weather, with temperatures hovering around 31 degrees Celsius, the same as the day before.
Meanwhile, Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has announced that temperatures will gradually rise in the coming days, peaking at 39 degrees Celsius on Wednesday. It is also forecast that wind speeds will reach up to 20 kilometers per hour, while the chance of rain remains zero at least until Thursday, when there is only a 5% possibility.
