Former military officer Hafir Hoxha has reacted to the protests being held in Pristina against the Special Court’s decision to sentence former KLA leaders.

Hoxha called on protesters not to use the KLA emblem for personal, group or party gain.
He expressed support for the former KLA leaders in The Hague, opposing the ruling against them and stressing that “the KLA belongs to no party.”
“All of Kosovo is the KLA,” Hoxha wrote.
In his post, he pointed out that a small group of people is trying to appear at the protests covered by the KLA emblem and present themselves as more patriotic and braver than the war veterans who wore that emblem at the time and place when it was needed.
Hoxha voiced his support for the liberation fighters in The Hague and for protests against their unjust sentencing, but not for anyone to speak on behalf of the people.
He also opposed personal, group and party gain from this situation involving the sacred KLA emblem, repeating that the KLA belongs to no party and that “all of Kosovo is the KLA.”
