President Bajram Begaj has responded to the fires that have affected several areas of Albania in recent days.

The head of state expressed his gratitude to firefighters, members of the Armed Forces and everyone involved in battling the flames, praising their courage, dedication and sacrifice.
According to Begaj, the efforts of these forces are helping to protect lives, families, homes and property, while those directly confronting danger on the front line deserve special respect.
The president also called for those who set fire to the country to be severely punished in accordance with the law.
Amid high temperatures and numerous fire outbreaks, Begaj urged citizens to exercise caution, follow the authorities’ instructions and avoid actions that could endanger lives.
He stressed that every citizen must make their own contribution to protecting the community, property and nature, adding that Albania today needs everyone’s solidarity and responsibility.
