Appearing as a guest in the News24 studio, analyst Fatos Lubonja expressed doubt that Prime Minister Rama could reflect even after two months of mass protests demanding his removal from government.

Lubonja said that Rama would humiliate and use violence, but would not reflect.
According to him, in a normal country, the prime minister would have resigned and faced justice to provide explanations for all the corruption scandals.
“Expecting Rama to reflect is like expecting a flamingo to lay crow’s eggs; it is alien to his way of thinking and governing. What he knows how to do is create conflict, humiliate, engage in verbal violence and, when it comes down to it, physical violence as well—but not reflect. He has had plenty of time to reflect. In a normal country where there is reflection, he would have resigned because he bears, at a minimum, moral and political responsibility, not to mention legal responsibility. If SPAK investigates more deeply and applies the same standards it used with Berisha, he should appear before SPAK to provide explanations,” Lubonja said.
Lubonja also said that Rama should have left politics long ago, while stressing that he is doing everything possible to remain in the prime minister’s chair.
“Failure to keep promises is punished through the ballot box, and when laws are broken, through the justice system as well. If he had even the slightest capacity for remorse, he should have left politics long ago for failing to deliver on so many things. But that does not exist here, because the culture here is to have the powerful on your side, to have the judges on your side, and to use violence against the majority,” Lubonja said, among other things.
