DUI denies that VLEN’s first deputy prime ministers chaired government sessions, but a post shows otherwise for Mexhiti

The Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) has responded to the activities of the Albanian first deputy prime ministers in the government, stating that since June 2024, none of them has chaired a government session, TV21 reports. According to DUI’s claim, Izet Mexhiti, Bekim Sali and Arben Fetai are each listed as having chaired zero sessions.

However, a verification on Facebook shows that former First Deputy Prime Minister Izet Mexhiti chaired a government meeting on July 11, 2024.
