The party assesses that the Constitutional Court’s decision is part of a series of scandalous rulings by this court, citing as examples the repeal of the Balancer Law and the attempt to abolish the Law on the Use of Languages.
According to ASH, this situation is the result of cooperation between the Constitutional Court and the current government, stressing that all these issues had been promoted in VMRO-DPMNE’s platform under the slogan: “Macedonia yours again.”
ASH says that such decisions do not help strengthen the rule of law or build interethnic trust, but, on the contrary, deepen divisions and undermine the principle of equality among citizens.
