The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, said that the parties would try to meet again following his meeting with the chairman of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti.

The meeting between the two leaders lasted around two hours and was held as part of efforts to overcome the political crisis and find a solution for the election of Kosovo’s president.
“A regular update following developments in both parties. As required, there will be discussions, and we will also officially inform each other about developments within the parties. I did this regarding the meetings that took place yesterday, which I officially reported,” Abdixhiku briefly said after the meeting.
Kurti made no statement to the media after the conversation ended.
The meeting was held amid a complicated political climate, while disagreements continue within the LDK over the agreement on the election of the president. Six lawmakers from the party have said they will not support the proposed candidacy.
