Subsidies for cereals and other field crops were transferred today. A total of 461.5 million denars have been paid to 23,874 farmers for land planted with wheat, barley, corn, rice, and other crops.

According to Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Economy, Albrim Hoxha, these funds were allocated in line with the announced schedule for subsidy disbursement.
“Over the past few days, payments have been made to goat and cattle breeders, as well as for organic production, and today the process continues with payments for cereals and other field crops. We aim for subsidies to be delivered on time and for the funds to reach the farmers,” Hoxha stated.
The payments were made through the Program for Financial Support in Agriculture for 2025. They cover direct support based on agricultural arable area for field crops, medicinal, aromatic, and spice plants, as well as flowers.
