During the last weekend of August, the Morini border crossing continued to face a large number of travelers.

Many holidaymakers are taking advantage of the pleasant temperatures to spend the remaining days of summer on the Albanian coast, although for some of them this is their next visit of the season.
Over the past 24 hours, 52,864 nationals and 13,531 vehicles entered Albanian territory. At the same time, 35,072 nationals, along with 11,238 vehicles, left the country.
The figures remain high even when the five-day period is examined. From August 24 to 28, 152,694 nationals and 46,870 vehicles entered through Morini, while 121,846 nationals and 37,148 vehicles were recorded leaving the country.
Morini continues to be one of the main crossing points between Kosovo and Albania. Authorities are continuing measures to manage the flow, with the aim of avoiding queues and speeding up travelers’ movement.
