Flames engulfed an apartment building overnight in the small town of Tousis, in eastern Switzerland. As a result, eight people were injured, while five others have still not been found.
Local police said the fire was reported shortly after midnight, during the night between Thursday and Friday.

The Grisons Cantonal Police announced that a restaurant and several apartments in the building were completely destroyed by fire, while five people remain missing.
Fourteen people were evacuated from the building affected by the fire. Eight of them were injured: two are in serious condition, two are in moderate condition, and two others suffered minor injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and are continuing the search for the five missing people.
