Kosovo Academy for Public Safety Board Sets Student Admission Numbers for the New Academic Year

The Board of the Kosovo Academy for Public Safety (KAPS) held its 45th session, chaired by Ismail Dibrani, director general of the Kosovo Correctional Service and chair of the body.

Senior representatives of security institutions attended the meeting, including Gazmend Hoxha, the senior official of the Kosovo Police, Kushtrim Hodaj from the Kosovo Police Inspectorate, Customs chief Agron Llugaliu, and Shpend Shabani in his capacity as KAPS director general. Representation was completed by Driton Zogiani for the Probation Service, as well as officials from the OSCE and the academy’s management staff.

The agenda addressed key issues for the institution’s future, notably the approval of admission quotas for new students in the three-year “Public Safety” program for the 2026/2027 academic period.

Board members also reviewed the progress of the study program’s reaccreditation, the organization of the fifth scientific conference with international participation hosted by KAPS, and the restructuring of the training calendar to be implemented during 2026.
