A large quantity of various types of drugs was discovered by police on July 8 in an abandoned basement area of a building in the Municipality of Aerodrom.
As the authorities announced, on 08.07.2026, police officers from the Illicit Trade Unit at the Skopje Internal Affairs Department, following measures taken earlier, found in abandoned basement premises in the territory of the Municipality of Aerodrom a larger quantity of various types of narcotic drugs: a white substance in lump form, hallucinogenic mushrooms, a bag containing a larger quantity of tablets – ecstasy, marijuana, and three digital scales.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs said measures are being taken to fully clarify the case, after which the appropriate charges will be filed.
