A police operation was carried out on 24.06.2026 at a venue located on “Mehmet Akif Peja” street in Peja, after the authorities received and processed relevant information that several people there were engaged in unlawful gambling activities.
Operational and investigative actions were undertaken by the Regional Investigation Sector within the Regional Police Directorate in Peja, with the assistance of police officers from the Peja Police Station and with the relevant legal authorization, for the purpose of enforcing the law, while an inspection and search of the venue were conducted.

During the search, seven (7) mobile phones, one (1) DVR and one (1) laptop were seized as material evidence.
The suspects linked to this case were arrested and later interviewed by the competent investigators. After the completion of the initial investigative procedures, by decision of the competent authority, they were released under regular procedure.
