LSDM says that two years after Hristijan Mickoski and VMRO-DPMNE came to power, the pledges made to citizens have remained unfulfilled and without concrete substance.
According to the party, a review of the “Platforma #1198” program shows that, even after two years, up to 90% of the promises have not been fulfilled.

“Mickoski and VMRO-DPMNE promised a higher standard of living, and today citizens’ wallets and refrigerators are emptier. They promised lower inflation of 2.5%, yet food prices are rising, inflation is 4.8%, double the European average. They promised more foreign investment, and foreign investment has fallen by almost two-thirds.”
“They promised new jobs and higher wages, and citizens are facing rising poverty of 22% and reduced purchasing power. They promised a reduction in borrowing, and they increased debt by 2.5 billion euros. They promised support for farmers worth 180 million euros, and they cut subsidies by 40 million euros. Reduced subsidies, reduced buyouts, uncertain placement and a complete lack of systemic care.”
“They promised measures to prevent youth emigration, but did nothing. They promised to eliminate corruption and ensure justice for all, and the public is witnessing tender scandals worth more than 150 million euros, the partisan takeover of institutions, and control over the judiciary. They promised progress toward the European Union and reforms, and today Macedonia has a blocked European path. There are no reforms, no results, no progress, only isolation. The result of Mickoski’s fulfilled promises is zero,” LSDM said.
