The inspection aimed to verify the conditions under which food products were being traded and the implementation of legal regulations related to their safe storage and circulation.
According to the inspectors’ findings, the products were being sold outside the areas designated for this purpose within the market and under unhygienic conditions. This situation poses a risk to food safety and consumers’ health. The seized goods have been removed from circulation, while the responsible institutions will continue to take measures in accordance with their legal powers.
The AUV announced that it will continue intensified inspections, both independently and in cooperation with other competent institutions, with the aim of protecting citizens’ health and ensuring food safety in the market.
The agency called on all food operators to fulfill their legal obligations and create appropriate hygienic conditions during the handling, storage and sale of products. The AUV stressed that food safety and the protection of consumers’ health remain institutional priorities.
