According to the latest updates from the European meteorological model ECMWF (European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts), in certain places air temperatures could fall below -10 degrees.

As for precipitation, during the same period weaker local snowfall is expected across the entire Balkan Peninsula. However, he stressed that this is a very unofficial meteorological analysis and that with subsequent model refreshes there will certainly be other changes.

He added that he will provide information on the nature of these changes in upcoming meteorological posts, emphasizing that this warning should in no way be taken as final, but only as an unofficial meteorological warning. (INA)
