Parliament will hold interviews today with three candidates as part of the procedure to select a new member of the Judicial Council, who is elected by lawmakers.

The session is being conducted by the Committee on Elections and Appointments, following the publication of a public notice and the review of the applications received. Of the four applicants in total, three meet the requirements to proceed to the next stage of the procedure.
The candidates who will take part in the interviews are lawyer Emilija Aleksovska from Kumanovo, lawyer Xhoko Dikov from Strumica, and lawyer Fadil Xhelili from Gostivar.
The process is taking place after Parliament canceled the previous notice for the election of a member of the Judicial Council, Telegrafi reports.
