A little later, Prime Minister Kurti also left the government building after concluding his meeting with Hamza.
The authorities have not yet provided official information about the topics discussed during the meetings, which took place one day before the session of the Kosovo Assembly. During this session, the newly elected MPs are expected to be sworn in and the deputy speaker of the Assembly from the PDK is expected to be elected.
Meanwhile, the PDK has submitted a request to the Assembly to amend the Law on the Specialist Chambers of Kosovo. However, it remains unclear whether this issue will be included on the agenda of tomorrow’s session.
The session is being held following a decision by the Constitutional Court, which determined that the Assembly was constituted late, while finding that the Kosovo government was elected in accordance with the Constitution.
In the same decision, the Constitutional Court set October 6 as the final deadline for the election of Kosovo’s president.
