Made of black and white granite, the new helicopter landing area has a diameter of approximately 30 meters. A presidential seal made of black granite has been placed at its center.

Trump expressed pride in the result, describing the project as a “work of art.”

In a social media post, the US president said the platform had been beautifully constructed with carved granite, combining shades of black and white.

According to Trump’s claim, the new structure will last for “more than a million years.” He presented the project as part of his broader vision for transforming the White House.

The president said he considered it an honor to be able, in his spare time, to restore the White House’s beauty and splendor to levels that, in his view, had not even been seen in 1792, when it was built.

Criticizing previous administrations, Trump claimed that the presidential residence had been left in a deteriorated condition. After the changes were carried out, he declared: “Now it’s a palace!”

At the same time, work is continuing inside the White House complex on a new ballroom, the reported cost of which has reached approximately $400 million.

The plan includes constructing a space covering approximately 88,000 square meters on the site formerly occupied by the East Wing. The latter was demolished on Trump’s orders.

The US administration says that approximately 65% of the work has been completed so far. The teams are working at an intensive pace, putting in up to 20 hours a day, all seven days of the week.

The construction of the ballroom has sparked controversy and has also been challenged through legal proceedings. Courts previously suspended the work, but the US Supreme Court later allowed it to continue temporarily.

According to the Trump administration, approximately $200 million in private donations has already been spent or committed for the project.
