Trump added that the US controls Iran’s money and has complete control over it, describing himself as their banker. He also said that inflation in Iran is at 300% and that the Iranian currency is nearly worthless.

Meanwhile, Israel and Lebanon are expected to begin a new round of talks in early September. International media report that the meeting between the parties will be held in Rome, the capital of Italy.
The US State Department confirmed the development in a statement, announcing that the United States would lead the process as mediator.
The talks aim to halt fighting on Lebanese territory, where Israeli forces carry out occasional attacks on targets belonging to Hezbollah, the Iran-backed militant group.
