Even after the crowd had left the area in front of the central institutions, the State Police continued operations in various parts of the capital to disperse groups of protesters.

Reports from the scene indicate that officers pursued young people in some of Tirana’s busiest areas, including the New Bazaar, streets near the center and the 9-Katëshe area.
Police are carrying out checks on people suspected of having taken part in the protest, while a tense situation continues on side streets, accompanied by an increased presence of patrols. Water cannons and tear gas are being used to disperse the groups.
