Tragedy has struck the family of actor and director Chad Lowe. His 13-year-old daughter, Fiona Hepler Lowe, has died, her parents announced in a statement published by People magazine.

“We are deeply devastated by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” Chad Lowe and his wife, Kim Painter, said, describing their daughter as a loving, intelligent and creative child who adored dancing.
“Her sisters adored her, and her parents loved her deeply,” the statement continued.
The family described Fiona as “the light of our lives” and asked for privacy during this difficult time.
In the statement, the family also referred to the U.S. mental health support line 988, without providing further details about the circumstances of the 13-year-old’s death.
Fiona was born on November 16, 2012, and was the family’s second daughter. Chad Lowe and Kim Painter married in 2019 and have two other daughters, Mabel, 17, and Nixie, 10.
